On April 2, 2025, the expert seminar Current Challenges in Taxation and New Digital Trends and Solutions was held, organized by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) in cooperation with EDIH Cassovium, Deloitte, and AmCham Slovakia.
The event was part of a series of professional seminars for entrepreneurs and was attended by 13 company representatives and 4 representatives from the public sector.
Main topics of the seminar:
- The impact of current legislative changes on the business environment
- The effect of introducing a transaction tax
- New trends in tax audits
The expert presentations were delivered by Deloitte specialists, who focused on the practical implications of the changes for business practice. In the second part of the program, a representative of the Technical University in Košice presented current digital trends in business.
EDIH Cassovium was introduced at the beginning of the seminar, providing participants with information about the range of services related to the digitalization of accounting and business processes. Each participant received promotional materials and had the opportunity for personal discussions with representatives of our consortium during the closing networking session.
The seminar confirmed the importance of combining legislative, economic, and technological knowledge for the successful operation of businesses in a dynamic environment.
