We were very pleased to participate in the informational seminar “Regions and Cities on the Path to Innovation,” held on June 20 and organized by the Regional Centre Košice of the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic (MIRRI SR) in cooperation with Košice IT Valley.
The meeting aimed to establish cooperation and communication between MIRRI SR, local governments, and socio-economic partners in the eastern Slovakia region on the topic of smart cities and regions. The event also served as an opportunity to present the smart cities agenda within the Slovakia Programme, on the occasion of the release of the Action Plan for Smart Cities and Regions.
Our EDIH CASSOVIUM is the only European Digital Innovation Hub in Slovakia based in this region, offering support in digital and smart solutions for municipalities and organizations. Representing EDIH at the seminar were Miroslav Michalko (FEI TUKE) and Viliam Fedák (UVP TECHNICOM), who presented the benefits of Living Labs in the concept of smart cities and shared practical examples of testing and validating digital technologies offered by EDIH CASSOVIUM.
The seminar showcased many creative, modern, and transformative ideas and insights aimed at advancing smart cities and regions.
