On Monday, August 28, 2023, representatives of EIT DIGITAL, Krisztián Gál and Nikolett Fohszová, met with the EDIH CASSOVIUM team at UVP TECHNICOM. EIT DIGITAL coordinates Hungary’s DigitalTech EDIH digital innovation hub.
The meeting followed the March visit to Košice by Tuan Trinh, Regional Director of the EIT DIGITAL Regional Node East. The main topics of the meeting included an exchange of experiences regarding the current operations of European Digital Innovation Hubs in Slovakia and Hungary, and discussions about possible joint activities that could link EDIH CASSOVIUM and DigitalTech EDIH.
Based in Budapest, DigitalTech EDIH is one of five European Digital Innovation Hubs in Hungary. Its focus within digital transformation lies primarily in cybersecurity and the development of digital skills, especially in the financial sector.
EDIH CASSOVIUM (EDCASS) is part of the European network of Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH). The consortium consists of the Technical University of Košice (coordinator), Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, and the Košice IT Valley cluster. EDIH CASSOVIUM aims to guide businesses and public sector organizations through digital transformation processes to increase their competitiveness and efficiency by innovatively applying digital technologies.
