Košice IT Valley organized the exceptional Zborovňa conference for STEM educators for the third time. The lectures, workshops, and discussions took place on February 13, 2025, at UVP Technicom in Košice, and EDIH CASSOVIUM was there as a proud event partner!
The General Director of the project, Miroslav Michalko, opened the Zborovňa conference with a keynote titled Trends Shaping Education. One of the key factors he emphasized was the need to strengthen teachers’ digital skills. He shared specific recommendations:
- Participate in trainings, workshops, and online courses focused on using modern tools and platforms.
- Experiment with new technologies.
- Integrate digital tools into teaching.
- Engage in discussions with students about digital literacy and the responsible use of technology.
Representatives of the EDIH CASSOVIUM consortium engaged with conference participants on the topic of digital transformation in public administration and introduced services focused on digitalization in schools. A highlighted example was a completed service for the Secondary Vocational School of Information Technology, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity. Cybersecurity and the issue of cyberbullying were the topics that resonated the most.
During the Zborovňa event, visitors had the opportunity to stop by the EDIH CASSOVIUM booth, where the consortium team continued to raise awareness about the importance of digitalization and the need to connect regional stakeholders.
